Some of the waters I have fished in the past have contained rudd, and some of those have been crammed to the gills with them, almost epidemic like quantities of them in fact. Some Irish waters spring to mind, as do some in Norfolk and Lincolnshire. As fly fishermen, we are lucky in that rudd are small brightly coloured little things with red fins, perfect for fly-tying! All the right colours in all the right places with a nice rounded profile, together with a sweet pulsing action in the water mean that this fly will score anywhere, even in murky water conditions.

PLEASE NOTE........these flies are tied to order ONLY and typically take about a week before being tied and shipped. They are also slightly different to what is on display......as I find new and better ways of tying them the patterns are improved and look more lifelike. I hope you are satisfied with the outcome!
